County Road 470 and Florida's Turnpike Interchange
This
project which was completed at CES involved the design of a new 3-quadrant partial
cloverleaf interchange between the Turnpike Mainline and CR 470 in Lake
County, Florida. The need for
an interchange at this location is based on the combination of growth
potential in the area, increase accessibility to the Coleman Federal
Correctional Facility and increased accessibility to the
Turnpike/Interstate 75 freeway system. This complex interchange project includes design and right-of-way
survey, right-of-way mapping, wetland determination, geotechnical
investigation, public involvement, drainage design, environmental
permitting, roadway design, bridge design, utility design, toll plazas, lighting design and signing and pavement marking plans. A public hearing was conducted by CES to present the proposed design to the community.
THIS PROJECT OPENED TO THE PUBLIC IN
