Homestead Extension of the Florida's Turnpike
 Construction has been
completed on this project which involved the modification and expansion of an
existing interchange between the Homestead Extension of the Florida Turnpike
(HEFT) and US 1 in Florida City at milepost 0.0 of the Turnpike system. The
project will provide for the missing return movement from southbound US 1 to
northbound HEFT. The project included survey, geotechnical investigation,
public involvement, drainage design, environmental permitting, roadway design,
lighting design, landscape design and signing and pavement marking plans.
