This is a Local Agency Program (LAP) funded project on City and
State roads.
The
corridor is broken into 4 segments and CES is performing the design
and public involvement on three segments. The objective of the
project is to improve several disjoined sections of the corridor
into one multi-model travel way with special emphasis on the
pedestrian friendliness and aesthetics. The project is incorporating
separate and joint use pedestrian and bicycle paths, several
roundabouts, landscaped medians and shoulders and decorative
lighting with banners. The project also includes drainage design and
stormwater permitting, utility coordination and right-of-way
acquisition.
