CES provided drainage, lighting, signing, and pavement marking design for this widening project between I-4 and Beulah Road in Orange County. This project involved the widening and reconstruction of approximately twelve miles of the Turnpike Mainline. CES was responsible for the drainage design and pavement marking design for the portion approximately four miles long between Gotha Road and Beulah Road, and the guide signing and roadway lighting design for the entire project length. This project also included the resurfacing and partial realignment of the existing SR 429 and SR 50 connector ramps and involved coordination with orange County and FDOT District 5. CES developed an innovative approach to lighting by providing pole top fixtures mounted in the median which saved construction and maintenance of traffic costs and provided a better final product.
