US 17 Decorative Roadway Lighting
This project is a design build project located in the City of
Bowling Green, Florida involving
the design and construction of a decorative lighting system.
The project is an American Recovery and Reinvestment Act
(ARRA) project for FDOT District 1.
CES is the lead designer to the contractor.
The system includes separate circuits for GFI outlets to be
used for supplemental lighted ornamentation to be temporarily
attached to the light poles.
The decorative poles are tapered fluted aluminum mounted on a
frangible “T” base. The
luminaires are Lumec Domus full cut-off dark sky friendly fixtures.
CES is also handling utility coordination and the design of
