West Haven Development
The West Haven Development is located along the
south side of C.R. 54 between U.S. 27
and Interstate 4 in Polk County, Florida.
The project is approximately 297 acres in size and proposed development includes
796 single-family residential units, a 141-unit hotel and approximately 30,000
square feet of commercial space within a Village Center. The project
consists of eleven (11) separate tracts; eight (8) of the tracts are
single-family residential subdivisions and the remaining three (3) tracts are
commercial.
CES
was a key member of the planning team that
successfully obtained concept and tentative planned unit development (PUD)
approval through Polk
County. Upon completion of this task in early 1999, CES
developed a
master utility plan, a master stormwater plan, and a 100-year flood study for
the entire development. Since then, CES
has been
providing final engineering design services for several of the tracts within
project including the development of preliminary plats, roadway design, site
grading, utilities (potable water, sanitary sewer and reuse water), stormwater
design, and regulatory permitting.
